Today I did what Clive told me to do and went into the metal workshop to make metal sleaves for over the top part of my one favorite sample. I measured out some aluminium, cut it, marked a center line, partly bent it on the press brake and used my paper sample to the to complete fold it over under the steel press. My first one was just a square cover, but then I started to experiment with different shapes like a triangle as I wanted it to link with the triangular pattern of my paper sample. I also made a little rectangle cover but I found this to be the least interesting of the three.
